I have been with my coach at Bodies By Design for 16 years, and if I would have listened to him on day one, I would have made my transformation a lot sooner than when the light bulb finally went on.

My mindset back then was that if I worked out, I could eat and drink anything I wanted. No matter what my coach said, my response was “I work out so I can eat what I want”.

Well, that changed 5 years ago when my weight hit an all time high.  I knew I had to make a change if I wanted to be around to play with my future grandchildren. I attended one of their free workshops where they went over tracking what you put into your body.

They explained macros, reading labels, even how to shop in a grocery store. Eventually I invested in an app to track these macros they talked about (fat, carbs, & protein) and paid attention to what I was putting in my mouth. The lbs. started coming off, the body fat percent continued to drop and I thought, hmmm, my coach has been telling me this all along.

I lost 25 lbs. (goal was 10) and body fat percent dropped 8% and I am now pushing the “very good” category for my age (healthy 59) and I am happy to report that I have maintained my weight for almost three years now with my new lifestyle.

BBD is not your ordinary gym; it is a family that looks out for each other. It does not matter if you are lifting 50 lb. dumb bells or 15 lbs., they are cheering you on.

The coaches will challenge you, give you the tools/support and they will help you break down the roadblocks you face.
