
Dr. Morgan Riggins: Founder of OPAL Movement Therapy & Coach at Bodies By Design
Dr. Morgan grew up in Dripping Springs, Texas, where she developed a love for swimming and riding horses. She swam for Hartwick College in upstate New York, specializing in breaststroke and individual medley events.
Her background as an athlete, combined with her passion for exercise and learning, led her to a career in physical therapy.
Morgan graduated from Texas State University in 2021 with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
She completed her Fellowship in the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists through The Manual Therapy Institute in 2023, further deepening her expertise in orthopedic physical therapy.
In 2022, Morgan founded OPAL Movement Therapy, where she combines her skills as a physical therapist and her love for helping others achieve their movement goals. She enjoys working with a wide range of clients, including distance runners, weightlifters, swimmers, hikers, and anyone looking to move better.
Her philosophy focuses on holistic approaches to movement, injury prevention, and rehabilitation.
As a coach at Bodies By Design, Morgan brings her expertise and passion for physical health to the fitness community, helping clients with a variety of fitness goals. Her role as a coach allows her to use her knowledge of movement and injury prevention to guide clients through their fitness journeys safely and effectively.
Morgan's clinic, OPAL Movement Therapy, is located inside Bodies By Design, providing an integrated approach to fitness and rehabilitation.
She works with many of the gym's clients to identify and address any physical issues before they become problems, ensuring everyone is in optimal condition to start their fitness programs.
Her skill in pinpointing movement issues and resolving them quickly has been invaluable in preventing injuries and enhancing the overall health of BBD's clients.

Outside of her professional work, Morgan loves lifting weights, cooking different cuisines, hiking new trails, and spending quality time with her family. Her passion for living an active, healthy lifestyle extends beyond her practice, and she shares that enthusiasm with everyone she works with.
